After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Digital Technology & Culture from Washington State University, he spent countless hours and late nights teaching himself Javascript, CSS and any other web language or code that was useful. Years of honing his web skills transitioned to growing his business acumen and creative direction abilities. Now Derek combines his exceptional creative talents with a problem solver’s mentality to implement successful strategies in everything we create on behalf of our clients.

The man of many talents also occasionally finds time to paint with acrylics or oils, plays a number of musical instruments and is dog-Dad to a Standard Schnauzer named Wellington Beauregard Nelson the 1st, or Wellie for short.
