Launching a new business can be a daunting task. When Pivotal Movement Experts approached us in need of help getting their new clinic up and running, we assured them that starting with a strong brand and web presence would set them up for success. Preparing to open in Kennewick, WA, PME aims to help athletes and active individuals dealing with injuries recover faster and get back into action through advanced physical therapy techniques and treatments.
Pivotal Movement Experts owner Jacob Nelson had a clear vision for the brand and website: instill a Pacific Northwest vibe that is sleek, simple and memorable. With the logo mark, he wanted to feature a pivot, or joint, showing upward mobility as a symbol for helping clients move forward and progress with their recovery. As a Washington native, he wanted to draw inspiration from our region’s pro sports teams and themes. On the website side, it was important that it appealed to male and female athletes with an emphasis on easy navigation and user experience. Jacob wanted something that stood out from other Tri-Cities area physical therapy websites. Our response? Challenge accepted!
With a clear design direction in tow, Focal Point went to work developing a brand kit that would provide PME with several variations and flexibility. Through the concept development process, we quickly centered on the right visual identity, moving to refine and work through minor details, producing the finished logo signatures. Then, adapting the brand assets for web through a style toolkit would ensure the aesthetic be consistent across all platforms. For PME to have success in today’s digital-centric marketplace, it’s imperative we be meticulous about their brand continuity –creating a consistent look and sound at each touchpoint with audiences.
After a whirlwind couple of months in the summer of 2024, we delivered all of the brand assets and startup collateral to get Pivotal Movement Experts open for business. With the finished brand identity, the logotype and V-pivot character accomplish the goals that PME is a modern brand with client success at its center. The final brand kit included options for signage, apparel and more that provide a wide range of uses.
Not long after the brand was unveiled and the practice opened, we wrapped and launched pmept.com. The fresh, new website features dynamic visuals of athletes, lightning-fast speed and performance, as well as custom icons and branded details throughout. Our client has been thrilled with the results from top down and is already making an impression in their field.
